Thanks to the city of Dallas and all the STC members who helped make the 2010 STC Summit a big success!

The event was well organized and a great place to introduce our products to the technical communications community. Some of the notes that we wrote down after returning from the conference are:

• It's the writers that can make or or break your content strategy!
• Having a CMS does not mean you are practicing content management.
• Many companies are looking for alternatives to XML for content reuse.
• There are a lot of companies using Word that want to share and reuse content among their authors.
• Folks who are looking to take advantage of content reuse have a lot of good technology options.
• And finally, a steady diet of coffee and chocolate makes you look like an overzealous exhibitor when really you're just hopped up on caffeine and sugar!

It was great to finally introduce SmartDocs to the technical writing community and we are looking forward to helping you reuse your content more efficiently.

We were very encouraged with the amount of interest in ThirtySix Software and SmartDocs and are going to be quite busy the next few weeks working with folks who are interested in learning more.
